League of NH Craftsmen Fair

Come to the 84th Annual Craftsmen's Fair, August 5th-13th

A nine-day showcase for exceptional craft by master artisans

Named one of the Top 100 events in North America, the Annual League of NH Craftsmen’s Fair is one of the oldest craft fairs in the country. For nine days in August, the Mount Sunapee Resort is transformed into a fairground of white tents filled with fine craft created by more than 200 master craftsmen. The scenic mountain view is the ideal backdrop for the creativity and beauty you will find at the Fair.

Shop for quality, one-of-a-kind craft that will take your breath away. Serious collectors and casual visitors alike will find distinctive craft in all price ranges. You will see work from every media area to include: baskets, clay, felting, fiber, glass, leather, metal, mixed media, non-metal jewelry, photography, polymer clay, prints and wood.

Connect with the makers. This is a unique opportunity to personally interact with master craftsmen and buy directly from them. Learn their stories and the vision behind the craft – and gain a new perspective.

Immerse yourself in fine craft through stimulating demonstrations such as glassblowing, basket weaving, wood turning, and calligraphy. Or go all in and take a workshop with a master craftsmen and make your own work of art.

Everywhere you turn at the Fair, you will find inspiration and ideas for using fine craft in everyday life. Explore these fine craft showcases designed specifically for that purpose:

•    Living With Craft, tastefully decorated room settings with handcrafted furniture, lighting fixtures, prints, rugs, and accessories
•    CraftWear, a display of wearable fine craft
•    Sculpture Garden, an outdoor display of dramatic sculptures and lawn ornaments

Engaging activities for the kids. Children will enjoy the interactive Tools for Kids and All Day Pottery workshops. Or they can help master craftsman Mark Ragonese create pop-up stone-and-stick sculptures at different locations on the Fairground.
